I’ve always been the type of woman who preferred comfort over style (I’m sorry, not sorry). So, when I found out that I was pregnant, I knew that I absolutely did not want a shoulder diaper bag because I just didn’t think it would be comfortable. As such, I searched for other options that suited me.
During my search, I came across the backpack diaper bags. I didn’t even know that backpack styled diaper bags were a thing.
But once I found them, I knew that it would be perfect for me and my lifestyle.
ErgoBaby has these great Backpack Diaper Bags that provide not only convenience but also practicality. One thing that I love about the bag is the fact that the bottle pockets are insulated, which means that the warm bottles can be kept warm for long periods(up to approx. three hours) and the cold ones are kept cool. This came in very handy because I knew that I wouldn’t be able to obtain hot/warm water on the go to make a baby bottle.
So, when I was heading out with my baby, I would make the bottles piping hot and put them into the insulated bottle pockets. They would always keep the bottles warm. Hot even, so much so that I still had to cool them down before feeding them to my baby.
If you’re one of those moms that find bags with handles more comfortable, I still think the backpack diaper bags would still be a good fit for you because ErgoBaby sells the Convertible Diaper Bags that can you carry using the top handles.
With all their practical uses, ErgoBaby Backpack Diaper Bag is also very stylish and the colours are pretty nice too. I especially love the brown one.
Another thing that I appreciate about the ErgoBaby Backpack Diaper Bag, is that the bag comes with a free portable changing mat. And let me tell you, for me, this was one of the most useful things. It still is.
Due to the living space that we occupy, a changing table just wasn’t possible. It would have made things too crowded, with little space to walk or for our baby to move around. Thankfully, we had one of the portable changing mats.
I brought it with us everywhere we went. It particularly was useful in the public bathrooms that provided changing areas for babies. Personally, I wouldn’t have felt comfortable changing my baby on it, so I used the changing mat to provide a layer between my baby and the changing area. This made me feel 100% more comfortable in such a space.
At times when we were unable to find a place to change her, I would simply change her in the car. I didn’t even have to worry about accidents or anything like that. The mat is also waterproof and washable so those should be huge pluses, for anyone, I should think.
Other than that, with the ErgoBaby Backpack Diaper Bag, you don’t need to carry a purse. Why? Because the bag has sections where you can separate your baby’s stuff from yours. It seriously will make you feel like the most prepared and organized mom ever. They also give you stroller loops, so you can easily attach it to your stroller for more convenience. If you buy from ErgoBaby, you will get free shipping on any item that you choose. A definite plus, wouldn’t you say?
The ErgoBaby diaper backpacks probably won’t be for everyone. That is perfectly understandable. Personally, I loved it and still do because my baby is still a baby and I need it. Also, FYI, the backpack works pretty well with a baby carrier. You can have the diaper pack on your back, while the baby carrier would be in front. To me, that’s pretty convenient.
This product is one for Note-Worthy products that I still find extremely useful. Comment down below if you prefer a diaper bag with handles or a backpack diaper bag.
