I have a confession to make. I sometimes take longer in the bathroom than I really need to. Why? Because I’m a mother and sometimes I need a break.
Sue me.
That’s how mom life is. Sometimes the only place of escape you have is a bathroom.
All moms do this at some point, if you haven’t yet, you’re going to want to eventually, because, whew chile! (urban pronunciation, not the country). It can be exhausting!
For some, it’s the pantry where they can sneak away to have a little snack. That rings true for mamma Ashley from the @GardnerQuadSquad. But who could blame her? She has a set of quadruplets! If that doesn’t sound exhausting enough, I don’t know what does.
Every mom that I have spoken to or interacted in some way with, have mentioned that they have ‘getaway’ spots. The truth is, if as a mom you don’t find such a spot, then you run the risk of never having ANY alone time EVER again!
So, if you haven’t found your little hiding spot yet, or if you haven’t started hiding yet, you’re going to want to eventually. Trust me. It’s the only way that you’ll be able to keep your sanity.
